I just wanted to post and say how encouraging it has been for me that so many of you have taken the time to read my thoughts and to share encouragement and your own thoughts with me...
Traveling the last couple of years with Beth and now with Shawn has been rough on me in the 'community' department of life...never being in the same place long, always surrounded with new faces, without the regularity of church and Bible studies...
I have prayed that God would help me to be creative about community...I didn't think it would be in blog form, mind you, but its been sweet just the same.
So thanks for being a part of this creative community! and please continue to share with me...I love it!

I feel the same way Kate. Being in college and working 40 sometimes 50 (like this week ugh!) hours a week, and always on the run.. It makes life hard. I drive an hour to school and back, and with nannying I'm travelling all over the portland metro area on a moment's notice.. Makes it hard to plan a social life. Hard enough to squeeze the family in. Another reason I love blogging so much.
