down with low-grade fevers!

yes! down with them! (as i type that i am pretending to be the five year old version of myself complete with pigtails, a stubborn expression, crossed arms, and a foot itching to stomp *grin*)

i want to call out this fever and say something to the effect of 'be hot or cold, but not lukewarm'! a real fever (now i am taunting) will come out strong and only last a day or so, but its these darn low-grade ones that hang around for awhile. i have been battling this particular one since riverside, cali...5 days.

'shawn, do i feel hot to you?' he puts his hand on my forehead. i correct him 'no babe, use the back of your hand'.
'kate, you feel fine.'
'trust me i know when i have a fever. i can feel it.'

i want my mom.

when you are feeling better, there is nothing better. my mom would always make a bed on the couch for us with sheets and put a cold washcloth on our foreheads when we were sick. and i would watch all 8 hours of the anne of green gables saga and drink sprite and eat rainbow sherbert. ahh...the good old days.

nah, don't feel too sorry for me. its really not all that bad. i just like the drama...

okay..so i am working at the merch table, so maybe i should actually work *grin*

more later

I would really like to thank you for what I have read tonight of your blog(amazingly disjointed sentence!). I have been tremendously encouraged in multiple ways. I don't really know if it is awkward or weird to have random people you have never met reading your thoughts and stories but it is a gift to those who do read them. Thank you. Please be encouraged! :-) God Bless you and yours. Tim

tim,

thanks for commenting. i am the QUEEN of writing just like i talk- a serious run-on sentence. *grin*

i am glad you have been encouraged...i get my community in creative ways now that i am traveling a lot...so its not weird to have people i don't know read this stuff...its a connection point.

God bless!

kate..it must be a tour thing...i battled a fever the last two nights, couple that with a migrane headache and whoa baby. Felt like someone hit me over the back of the head with a 2x4 with nails sticking out of it.

I think it means we're working too hard. Or it's those darn bunk beds.
