Hooray for Mrs. Hempstead!!! And I connect with what you said about furnishings in your home...we have friends here, Brian and Michelle, and I think their home is totally furnished and decorated with either antiques or art they have created--plus a saltwater fishtank--plus plants--it's a complete
wonderland to walk around in. plus used stuff or stuff you make's cheaper ;)

pianoman,

hello! let me explain...Risen is a magazine put out by Christians that looks into the things that are influencing our culture....mostly they don't intewview Christians..although Switchfoot was in that same article that Ozzy was...their approach is to really look at these people who are putting their impact on our communities and our world and to investigate what it really is that they believe and what their worldview is. As a Christian, to me, its good information to have...not because I agree with the belief system of Ozzy, but precisely because I don't...does that make sense?

I am sorry if that offended you at all...I just tihnk as a Christian adult, fighting for truth, its good to know what else is out there so I can be prepared to give an answer to any type of person... plus, its interesting to see articles with these people about real life issues, rather than the trash and glam that other magazines put out..this one really focuses on real questions...and its amazing how, as a beleiver, I can see the hints and traces of a search for God (however off or misguided) with even Ozzy or Billy Corgan!

Did you happen to see the part on Switchfoot?
