the joys of moving- take it from me

we are having one of those days..one of those MOVING days... why is it that you get a truck and some big friends (thanks matt & blaine) and move more stuff than you thought was possible for your apartment to even hold...all of the loading and unloading and sweating...and you think you really have it all....and then you come back for those few little miscellaneous items and end up having two more car trips worth of stuff!?!?!

[that has got to be record for run-on, wordy sentences...sorry all you English people who are wincing]

anyway we have another car load of stuff...but instead of going right to the house and unloading we are opting for popcorn and a movie..(the TV was one of the 'miscellanous things' *grin*) so Shawn is trying to use the fancy-do-it-over-the-stove popcorn things and i am catching on email..and then its going to be a night of "24"-

i want to say that i in no way advocate tv-watching...esp. to the degree people do it here in the US...i tihnk its ruining kids imaginations and making them ADD and all of that.. we dont' have regular channels or anything. however, i think if you are going to practice moderate tv-viewing, you should rent the seasons of 24. i think its on season 5 now..its one of those you have to start in the beginning..we are trying to finish season 1 still (the whole 'moderate' thing) okay. commercial over. back to the blog...

i want to say thanks for those of you who have been commenting..its encouraging and challenging. thanks for taking the time to share back. life on the road can be lonely..its nice to have response...its almost like a conversation! *grin*

also, i really am going to comment back...it may take a day or two because of how crazy life is....the house..getting to ready to travel again and my sweet grandma went to be with Jesus this afternoon....so there is just a lot going on now...you are important to me and i will comment. please keep checking back...you guys are the best!
