yes, we are crazy and yes, i have become an official dog person!
this little male's coloring is called 'dilute chocolate harlequin' and is extremely rare in beagles...
as always we are looking for naming help...we like the following:
madden (i thought of steve madden shoes, shawn thought of the xbox game *grin*); milo, or owen
this sweet little girl is a tri color...that's the normal beagle coloring but she is TINY and will hopefully mature at under 6lbs!
names: riley, edie, or scout...(i like jetti, but shawn says it makes him think of jedi..)
thanks for your help..we are taking suggestions as well...we are happy with the boys choices, but struggling to find something spunky and not too girly for our little girl...her markings are too sharp for something real sweet, you know?
my hubby informed me today that i say 'you know' all the time. think i just proved it. *grin*

I have to agree with Jeremy on my votes. We think so much a like!
i say since you like the name scout for the girl, you go with a 'to kill a mocking bird' theme, and name the girl scout and the boy something like jem, atticus, or boo (radley). haha. just a suggestion. i thought it was cute. probably not original huh?
For the girl...I think the names Lexi and Jade are cute...but not too "cutsey".
